They Warn About the Negative Impact of Projects on Public Information Access

San Juan, Puerto Rico – A diversity of health, women, human rights and animal organizations opposed, on Monday, two bills that would limit access to public information and whose approval warned that it would harm public health and democratic participation. Expressions were made during public hearings convened by the Transparency Program of the Center for Investigative Journalism (CPI) and the Puerto Rico Bar Association (CAAPR).
