Through weather models of rain forecast for summer and autumn, the Confederation of Agricultural Associations of the State of Sinaloa is expected to reverse the levels of intense drought that prevails in that state, as well as raise the level of all its prey from 6 to 50 percent, thus benefiting irrigation crops. Annual production of white maize is estimated at a maximum of 1.8 million tons.
