Vladimir Putin Issues His Conditions for Ending the War in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has put out a list of demands for ending the war in Ukraine.

According to three sources close to Putin, the Russian president is demanding guarantees from the West as a condition for ending the fighting in Ukraine - including a commitment not to join Ukraine to NATO, the lifting of sanctions and a solution to the frozen assets.

These would include lifting sanctions, a neutral Ukraine, a ban on NATO membership, and the unfreezing of frozen Russian assets.

The Kremlin believes that Russia can fight for years regardless of Western sanctions.
