September 8, 1985 , 1912 is the world's largest passenger ship at that time, the "Titanic", on his maiden voyage from Southampton to New York. In the North Atlantic, south of Newfoundland, it is scratching an iceberg. The ship runs full of water, three hours later it is sunk. More than 1,500 passengers are killed. For a long time the steamer is considered lost, but 73 years later, in September 1985, the wreck is found.
