World Ocean Day, 8 June, takes on a particular dimension on the French Riviera: this Sunday concludes the Forum on Blue Economy and Finance, in Nice, and Monday 9 June opens the third United Nations conference on the ocean (Unoc3), until 13 June. An appointment with a large absentee: the United States. A lack of a federal delegation highlighted at the Summit on the rise of the oceans and the resilience of coastal territories.
The historic Portuguese flagship built in 1937 and which was refurbished in 2022 from Monaco at the end of the morning and reached about 1700 local places to Nice (1600 in Lisbon).
