In an act that represents a victory for human rights and international solidarity, Mexico recently received the first Palestinian refugee family from the Gaza Strip, a region devastated by more than a year and a half of military offensive and humanitarian crisis. These are 18 members of the Abed family, who were greeted with food, clothing and words of encouragement by Mexican citizens at Mexico City International Airport.
