Summer Avenue widening project to begin Monday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Summer Avenue is getting extra lanes and new bridges, from Interstate 40 out to Sycamore View. But until then, drivers face years of construction. A three-year, $69.4 million construction project will begin Monday at 7 p.m., the Tennessee Department of Transportation says.
