The Repair of Locomotives of the San Martín Line Is Still Delayed

The general repair of the 24 CSR SDD7 locomotives of the San Martín line has not yet started date. Although the tender was awarded to CRRC at the end of 2023, the work is slowed down due to contractual issues. The locomotives have already long exceeded the mileage required by the manufacturer for their general repair: many present operating problems and others are separated from service waiting for a necessary intervention.
