The officer had been seriously hit in the face by a mortar fire in the Channel on 31 May.
The state of health of the policeman, seriously injured in Coutances on 31 May 2025, improved, confirmed on 10 June the Coutances Public Prosecutor's Office. The man was hit in the face by the shooting of a distress fire in the street on the evening of the final of the League of Football Champions, won by the PSG.
