More than 1,800 Palestinians freed under a ceasefire deal faced harsh detention conditions, with at least 75 dying in custody, according to a U.N. report on torture and abuse.

- Last month, released detainees arrived at Nasser Hospital for health checks, with Moureen Kaki noting most appeared gaunt and limping, while dozens of health care workers returned and Dr. Ahmed Muhanna was welcomed back to Al-Awda Hospital.
