A couple from Gundershoffen is one of the hundreds of civil parties in the Apollonia case, named after this Aixese company, which originated in a gigantic real estate scam worth more than EUR 1 billion, whose trial ends this Friday, June 6th in Marseille. Becoming owners of eight properties with the status of renter in professional furnished in 2007, they were trapped by the promise of full self-financing.
After two months of trial, the trial of France's largest real estate scam is coming to an end this Friday. The prosecution has taken ten years in prison against the main accused. The judges will deliberate several weeks to rule on the responsibilities of the 15 defendants in this unusual case.
A fine of €2.5 million was also sought against the directors of the financial council.
