Following Friday's snowfall, the Tatra Mountains are experiencing very difficult hiking conditions, according to the Tatra National Park (TPN). On Kasprowy Wierch, 14 cm of snow lay on Saturday morning, and the temperature dropped to 6 degrees Celsius. At Hala Gąsienicowa, the snow depth reached 22 cm.
