Prosecutors in Slovakia says the suspect in the attempted assassination of populist Prime Minister Robert Fico last year has been indicted on terror charges.
Prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Katarína Habčáková filed an indictment against 72-year-old Juraj C. for the particularly serious crime of terrorist attack at the Specialized Criminal Court in the case of the assassination of Prime Minister Robert Fico (Směr). Juraj Cintula committed the assassination of Fico on May 15, 2024, at a meeting of the Slovak government in the town of Handlová.
