[Yokohama] The 79th Okitsuru Sumo Tournament (sponsored by the Okitsuru Association), which promotes and passes on Okinawa's traditional culture through Okinawa sumo, was held on the 6th at Irifune Park in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City. Thirty-two people from the local Tsurumi Ward and Okinawa participated in a heated tournament. Hideaki Masai (39), a firefighter from Ginoza Village, won the championship.
