Eight months before the presidential elections in France, the far right party's website Gathering National and its computer servers were attacked on Tuesday and Marine Le Pen's X account was hacked with a message promoting a cryptocurrency in his name.
A message claiming the removal of several databases from the official RN website was published on Monday, 20 July, on a cyber-offender forum. The party refutes any "mass" leak of data.
The National Rally claims that its technical investigations did not reveal any massive exposure of personal data. The presidential candidate's X account was also hacked, a message having been removed after a few minutes.
The far right party's website and Marine Le Pen's X account were targeted by hackers.
