The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, attended the event commemorating the 1,200th anniversary of the Fuero de Brañosera, presided over by His Majesties the Kings of Spain, and organized by the Autonomous Government in collaboration with the Diputación de Palencia and the Municipality of Brañosera, in which he paid homage to the oldest municipality in Spain and the origin of municipalism.
