The head of the Joniškis district municipality will be sworn in next week

The new mayor of Panevėžys, Loreta Masiliūnienė, who was sworn in on Monday, says she will present the nominations of her deputies at the council meeting next week. She plans to appoint Žibutė Gaivenienė, who until now served as an adviser to the head of the municipality, as vice-mayors of the city, and Deividas Labanavičius, a “peasant” who worked in the Seimas last term.
