We know how much we'll pay for fuel this Easter. The latest announcement from Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka has been published. Starting April 4th, the maximum rates for gasoline and diesel will be 6.21 groszy per liter of Pb95 gasoline and 7.87 złoty per liter of diesel, respectively. These prices will be valid at gas stations until Tuesday, April 7th inclusive.
From Saturday to Tuesday inclusive, a liter of 95 gasoline is expected to cost no more than PLN 6.21, gasoline 98 - PLN 6.82, and diesel - PLN 7.87 - according to today's announcement by the Minister of Energy. This means that during this period, compared to Friday, all maximum fuel prices will increase.
The maximum price mechanism, combined with the sudden increase in oil prices, has proven to be a significant problem for gas stations. On Good Friday, Orlen raised wholesale prices, particularly for diesel, and the minister predicted a cut in the maximum retail price for Friday. Gas stations may even lose money on diesel sales.
The Minister of Energy has announced the maximum fuel prices that will apply at all stations in Poland during the holiday season. Fuel prices from April 4th to 7th cannot exceed the amounts specified below: – 95-octane gasoline – PLN 6.21/l – 98-octane gasoline – PLN 6.82/l – diesel – PLN 7.87/l.
