The TBMM General Assembly convened under the presidency of Deputy Speaker Bozdağ for the election of the 28th Term Second Term Speaker of the Parliament. Numan Kurtulmuş, the AKP candidate who received 329 votes in the third round of voting, was re-elected as Speaker of the Parliament.
