Canadian company Whitewater violated Swedish law when they installed the water slide that caused the fire at Liseberg's Oceana bathhouse. The Polish installers were not registered with the Swedish Work Environment Authority to work in Sweden until a day after the fire. “For the employer, it is a violation of the law,” says Robert Scarlini at the Swedish Work Environment Authority.
