According to the Republic Seismological Institute, an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale was registered today at 14:43 local time in the Golija region, 20km E of Sjenica. The theoretical intensity at the epicenter was estimated at VI on the Mercalli scale. Earthquakes of this intensity can cause minor damage to buildings in the epicentral area.
