The CNDH Warns: “It Is Unconstitutional” Charge of Five Dollars to Cruise Ships Arriving in Vallarta
Guadalajara, Jalisco The National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) requested the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) to declare unconstitutional article 80 bis of the Finance Law of the City of Puerto Vallarta, to put a stop to the collection of five dollars that each foreign tourist visiting the place was authorized.The rate would begin to be charged on the arrival of the cruises from next July.
