Odido is experiencing an outage Friday morning, a spokesperson for the telecom provider confirmed. The problems appear to be affecting mobile calls and text messages. Thousands of reports have been received on the outage website Allestoringen.nl.
Odido outage impacting mobile clients, also for Simpel and Ben
Odido is struggling with a major outage on its mobile network. The outage site Allestoringen.nl shows outage reports increasing since 2:00 a.m. on Friday, also for the other brands that use Odido’s network, Simpel and Ben. An Odido spokesperson confirmed the outage to ANP, saying it mainly impacts mobile calling and SMS. The company says it has 7 million mobile clients. Online, Odido customers are also complaining about internet issues.
Odido's telephone network experienced an outage on Friday morning. Calls were unavailable, and 4G and 5G were not working. The emergency number 112 was still available. The number of reports decreased significantly as the morning progressed. The outage appeared to be over by 10:15 AM.
