Reform UK teen becomes youngest person to run a council
A teenager from Reform UK has just been elected leader of a county council. George Finch, who’s 19 was already the interim leader of Warwickshire County Council. He was confirmed in the job thanks to a casting vote by a Reform colleague. As he emerged from the meeting to make a press statement our reporter Andrew Misra tried to ask a couple of questions – but the UK’s youngest ever council leader didn’t seem too keen to speak to the media.
