ACLU Condemns Reactivation of Detention Center in Aguadilla

In response to the possible reopening of the Aguadilla detention center to house immigrants detained in Puerto Rico, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) rejected what it considers "a grave affront" to human dignity and "a direct threat" to the rights of migrants on the island and in the Caribbean.

The American Union of Civil Rights (ACLU) today reiterated its opposition to the reopening in Aguadilla of a detention and deportation centre for migrants who are intercepted in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
