Jose Portillo District Attorney Michael Murray reported that on Monday, September 16, 2024, Jose Portillo was sentenced to 40 years incarcerated for the offense of Murder. Portillo pled guilty to the offense and waived his right to appeal the conviction as part of the agreement. Portillo was charged with Murder for the shooting for Ivan Garcia on July 14, 2022.
