- During a medical emergency response, a suspect seized the 2018 Pierce Enforcer Pumper from the 2900 block of Hoyt Avenue while firefighters attended to a fifth-floor incident.
- According to police, it struck trees and directional signs near Alverson Boulevard and crashed into two cars 16 blocks north, authorities said.
- Police responded to at least six crash scenes, the fire department said, and no injuries were reported.
