Sunny day flooding: Flood threat remains elevated along Central Florida’s coast during high tide

The combination of King Tides and a stiff breeze off of the Atlantic will create higher-than-normal tides.Sunshine will increase over the weekend, however, so too will the flood threat along the coast. Any flooding through the weekend will be the result of tidal forces and a strong breeze and not because of additional rainfall as the weekend is expected to be mainly dry.
