A Sumter man is in custody after allegedly attempting to flee deputies during a traffic stop and being found in possession of multiple narcotics and more than $14K.

Sumter Co., S.C. (WOLO)–  Deputies with the Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office say an attempted traffic stop lead to the discovery of drugs and cash. Investigators say on Monday deputies saw a car driving in the wrong direction on Reese St. When deputies attempted to stop the car, they say Anthony Pringle sped away in attempt to avoid law enforcement.
