Summit County Animal Control collecting donations for shelter

Summary by Ground News
Summit County Animal Control is a team of seven with four officers, including the field supervisor, the director and two shelter attendants. They manage a range of daily calls, and either help reunite lost pets with their owners, perform adoption assessments or transfer the animals to a rescue organization if the five-day hold period runs out. The effort requires hundreds of pounds of dog food and cat litter, bundles of newspapers as well as dozens of blankets and towels.
