Summer heat hits Oregon, except along the coast

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The heat is on. Portland will see its first 90 degree temperature of the year Sunday as an area of high pressure builds over the Pacific Northwest. Expect wall-to-wall sunshine with a few passing high clouds. Temperatures will top out in the mid-90s in the Portland metro area.
