Passersby Saves Man from Burning Vehicle in Sullivan Co.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says a passerby saved a man in a burning vehicle Tuesday morning. 20-year-old Josiah Terry of Shelburn crashed his vehicle into a tree near US 41 and Johnson Street and it burst into flames. The sheriff’s office says a passerby, Darryn Bucklers, stopped and pulled Terry from the vehicle. Terry was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
