Sturm Graz Signs 19-Year-Old Striker Kayombo

Football champions Sturm Graz have announced their first summer signing for their first team. The club confirmed the previously reported transfer of Axel Kayombo. The 19-year-old striker joins from FC Basel and has signed a "long-term contract" with Graz, as Sturm announced. Kayombo made two brief appearances for Basel's first team in the spring of 2024, but otherwise has no experience in a top-flight domestic league.
