Statesboro Council approves Tillman Road mixed-use rezoning, FY2027 budget

Statesboro City Council approved a rezoning request that could allow a hotel, conference center, brewery, retail space, housing, offices and parking decks on the south side of Tillman Road between Fair Road and South Main Street. Council also adopted the city’s FY2027 budget, approved design funding for Memorial Park and handled several infrastructure, tourism and annual contract items.
