ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) -- PennDOT is notifying drivers of a planned detour for Route 36, Union Avenue in Altoona, due to the Mill Run bridge project, beginning Monday, June 23. Route 36 (Union Avenue) from Baker Boulevard to 30th Street, including the intersections with Crescent Road and 31st Street, will be closed until Oct. 2025.
