MONTREAL — On Wednesday, the Court of Appeal of Quebec dismissed the application of the City of Blainville to suspend the expropriation by the province of land belonging to the City, in order to make it a dumping site of hazardous waste. The Court of Appeal referred to the arguments raised by the Superior Court in a judgment delivered on 2 April. It concluded that "the balance of disadvantages does not support the position of the City".
