As part of the project "Food is not for the Tjavendan", children from kindergartens, primary schools and high schools have reduced the amount of food waste by an average of 30 percent this year, with the most successful ones reducing it by 85 percent. The project, which is implemented by the Eco-School program and the retail company Lidl Slovenia, involved 302 institutions, which is the largest number to date.
