Springfield man charged with attempted murder after shooting into Westfield residence
WESTFIELD — A Springfield man was arrested for attempted murder Monday night after firing a weapon into the residence of his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend, according to police.At about 6:45 p.m., Nicholas Elliott, 35, of Johnson St., Springfield, pulled up in a Ford Mustang in front of a single-family home on Delancy Street in Westfield and began firing into the building, said Westfield Police Capt. Steve Dickinson.
