Sports has fueled tourism coming out of the pandemic as evident by more than 60 percent of fans to Raiders games coming from out of state. Formula One was brought to the city to fill the second slowest week of the year and to shine a global marketing spotlight on Las Vegas and bring tourists to the city beyond race week.

Sports Tourism Stakeholders meet in Iloilo City

The Sports Tourism Forum, to be held on June 5 in Iloilo City, will bring together dozens of professionals in the tourism, sports and education sectors. The one day event is jointly presented by the Department of Tourism Region VI, Sport Turismo Alliance, Inc, the Province of Iloilo and the City of Iloilo.
