- On Jul 4 at 01:20 AM, a 31-year-old teacher and a 48-year-old mother broke into a high school in Andong, triggering the alarm and prompting their arrest.
- South Korea prohibits private tutoring by active school teachers and the teacher tutored her pupil until February last year, authorities said.
- The detective told AFP 'they tried to steal exam papers across many subjects, not confined to Korean,' and a facilities manager was arrested for aiding the break-in.
- The student has been expelled and her grades nullified, Yonhap reported, and the teacher faces charges of accepting bribes and trespassing.
