The 12th-seeded Osakis softball team had an early edge over the fifth-seeded Paynesville Bulldogs in a Section 6-2A playoff game on Monday. Josee Hartshorn was hit by a pitch while the bases were loaded, giving Osakis a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Paynesville then outscored Osakis 11-3 from then on out to beat Osakis 11-4.
