- During the roll calls, the U.S. Senate considered two votes to block over $675 million in arms sales to Israel, rejected 70-27 and 72-24, while Slotkin missed them in New York.
- On Thursday, U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib wrote, `'Shame on every senator who voted to continue arming the Israeli apartheid regime or didn't even have the courage to show up and vote,'` and praised the 27 Democratic senators who supported the resolution.
