It sounds nice, but it is not true in Hungary either that nuclear power plants are able to produce electricity cheaply and always. A few weeks ago, there was a problem in Paks with the very unit that was not planned to operate anything other than continuously this year. Compared to previous, similarly unplanned shutdowns, the situation is more serious, but not because MVM is silent, but because the repair could take another five weeks. Or longer.
