Members of the Diyanet-Sen Osmaniye Branch have launched a petition to request the removal of daytime programs on television. Diyanet-Sen Osmaniye Branch Head Mikail İğde said, “Child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, murder and perverse relationships, which are against both human nature and our social structure, are being normalized and presented to the public, thus normalizing content that hurts consciences.”
