A clear signal of support was sent to the Republic of Moldova by NATO member countries during the B9 Summit held in Vilnius. In a joint statement, participants welcomed our country 'for the efforts to maintain stability and progress in the European road reform'. The countries participating in the summit signed a memorandum on the target of at least 5% of GDP for defence and continued support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.
The President of Romania, Nicoşor Dan, stressed, during the joint press conference at Summit B9 in Vilnius that a stronger NATO is needed to increase the costs of defence and production of military equipment, writes TVR Info. Dan also highlighted "a long-term concern about the security of the Black Sea area, including the Republic of Moldova".
