Shooting in Baton Rouge leaves 1 dead, police confirm

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed one person is dead after a shooting on Monday evening. The incident took place in the 10000 block of David Drive near Sharp Lane around 5:45 p.m. According to police, the victim was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
