Pedestrian Hit as Star Crow Involved in Car Accident
The Crows said the 25-year-old was shaken but unhurt and reported the crash to South Australia Police.
On Friday, Adelaide Crows player Josh Worrell was involved in a vehicle accident with a pedestrian while driving to training. The 25-year-old was shaken but physically uninjured.
Following the incident, the Adelaide Football Club reported the matter to South Australia Police and stated the club is not in a position to provide further comment at this stage.
Regarding the pedestrian involved, the Crows confirmed another person was in the collision, though there remains no update on their well-being as of Friday.
Despite the accident, Worrell is not expected to miss Adelaide's crucial game against Gold Coast on Saturday, marking his 16th appearance of the season.
Coach Matthew Nicks is managing player availability for a vital finals tilt, welcoming back Wayne Milera and Riley Thilthorpe following their recent absences from the lineup.
