MARION COUNTY, IL — The 63-year-old former Marion County Coroner Troy Cannon, faces seven counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The charges involve sexual conduct with two girls under 18 between January and March 2025. Cannon was arrested Wednesday and is now being held without bond. The investigation began after relatives reported the allegations in March. Cannon will have a preliminary hearing at 11am on July 2nd.
