“Servant of the People” Gunko sentenced to 7 years for receiving $85 thousand bribe

People's Deputy Anatoly Gunko was sentenced to 7 years in prison for receiving $85 thousand in bribes for providing a private enterprise to lease state lands of NAAS of Ukraine.

The MP, together with his accomplices, demanded a bribe from a representative of an agricultural firm for the right to cultivate state land. The permit cost $221,000.
