Scott family rebuilds after losing their dog and belongings in house fire

SCOTT, La. (KLFY) -- Cynthia Savoie and Darrell Savoie say they are picking up the pieces after a fire destroyed their home just two weeks ago. According to the Scott Fire Department, the fire occurred on May 12 around 8:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Mills Street. Upon arrival, fire officials observed smoke emitting from the structure.
